Has the sharemarket bottomed and expected to buy back in for capital gain?
The recent market rally certainly has us all in a better mood. A reader snapshot from the September issue of the Australian Financial Review's Smart Investor discovered that more than 87 per cent of you plan to buy shares in the next six months - and financials, metals, mining and energy are again back in the good books.
Most of the readers who responded to the survey - 88 per cent - have been investing in shares for more than five years and 71.6 per cent expect their newly bought stocks to make a capital gain in the next 12 months.
